I agree – ANY journalist that works for the Rothschild owned Al Jazeera and reports favourably (or otherwise ) on Morsi ( US Marionette ) has SOLD out ! They are NOT interested in the TRUTH !

Dear Robbo, this man works for a billion dollar company Al Jazeera it is a very important news network in the middle east for reporting news. I was horrified when the family have called for donations for support for their son. I find a problem with people who go overseas for what ever reason { I lived in Saudi Arabia for 8 years } get into trouble, then ask people at home for money to help them. He knew what he was doing in the country. The British journalist has over the weekend saying they are left in Egypt because of her chasing a story, but she ran out of the country before she was locked up, great one, not.

I know you are a kind hearted person and would help any cause you could because of your nature of wanting to help the community and that is why you have such a successful blog, in other words your a good bloke. But I would hate to see your site mixed up in this affair. For sure the Egyptian law courts are tough, whole of middle east is like that, everyone knows that, but going there when there were problems with the gvt and saying anything against/for the Muslim Brotherhood is like waving a huge flag over your head and saying Jail Me. The Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization simple as that, so mixed up in this affair is more than will ever meet the eye.

I don’t agree with the family in Australia asking for dollars of hard working Aussies when their son was working for such a rich organization. Anyways just my observations, if you ever need expert information on the middle east email me for the right information.

So lets get this straight , A journalist with great credentials one who operates with honesty and integrity , and is totally unbiased and innocent of all crime gets 7 Years ………….and Meanwhile in Australia Our Media who are criminals at best , lie like the paedophile scum that they either are or protect ,they are directly complicit in Lying By Omission and are therefor , traitors and should be given life in prison no if’s no but’s and there are thousand of people who now have the proof Especially with Headlines BILL SHORTEN ARRESTED BY THE VIC SEX CRIMES SQUAD 2014 FOR QUESTIONING OVER RAPE OF 16 YR OLD GIRL , Don’t you just love the Media So abbott punches a wall it makes National Headlines and good old Randy Bill Gets Arrested {BY THE RAPE SQUAD} and our useless fucken media don’t report It . ? What am I missing here ? or what are you missing here ?

BR always interested in your view on things, I am not sure it is all about their own importance as you say.

It is their career, a lifestyle you must agree, being an international journo at the very least.

Cases and sentences like this one, that attempt to smother reporting by the governing party in these countries surely cannot be tolerated in 2014, regardless of how big or small a reporters ego is?

I think Journos generally get a bit wrapped up in their own importance and don’t consider all of the consequences of their ‘reporting’.

I notice that the local Journos are fuelled up about it.

The ABC started with “Peter Greste jailed for Journalism”

ummmmm….no he wasn’t.
