Man arrested over house fire murder
- From: AAP
A MAN has been charged with murder and three others arrested for questioning over the death of a man whose body was found after a fire in northern NSW.
Luke Ogilvie, 50, was found dead on March 26 after a fire at his Urliup Road home in Bilambil, police said.
A strike force was established to investigate Mr Ogilvie’s death, with police particularly interested in locating his Harley-Davidson motorcycle which was missing after the fire.
Two men were seen pushing the $20,000 motorcycle along a road at Tweed Heads a short time after the fire.
Last Friday a 26-year-old man – an inmate at a Kempsey jail – was arrested and later charged with Mr Ogilvie’s murder.
Today police arrested two men, aged 24 and 30, at Tweed Heads.
The pair, along with a 28-year-old man who was already in custody, are assisting with inquiries, police say.
