Child porn raids seize 35 computers across Adelaide

POLICE have seized 35 computers from owners as young as 15 in raids targeting people believed to have accessed child sexual abuse material.

In a joint operation between South Australian Police and the Australian Federal Police, about 17 raids were conducted across metropolitan Adelaide and some regional areas on the weekend, with more raids to come.

So far, one person has been arrested for aggravated possession of child pornography.

Detective Superintendent Phil Hoff of the SAP said the youngest person a computer was taken from was 15 and the oldest 52.
